Hello. Oscar Carmona from Healing Grounds Certified Biodynamic Nursery located in beautiful Santa Barbara, California, here today to talk to you about how to put down plastic mulch. Plastic mulch for planting in rows is, comes in a roll and it's about maybe 40 inches wide and very long. And you lay it out over your bed and you heal it in on the sides. And then you're going to want to take a knife in the case of strawberries and you want to perforate, make holes where you're going to plant your strawberries. And you do that ahead of time. If it's peppers you're going to give it a little bit of a bigger spacing. If it's tomatoes even maybe a larger spacing. But it's a real wonderful way to mulch your soils that gives you additional heat and also keeps the plants so that the fruit will able to mature on a clean surface and keep the dirt off them. I sure hope you found this information useful. I'm Oscar Carmona. Remember, feed the soil and let the plants feed you.
