Hi, my name is Claire Coleman; I'm a Hairstylist, and I'm going to show you how to make your own bridal hair jewelry. Bridal hair jewelry is a really popular trend that's happening right now, it's one of my favorites. So, I'm going to show you how to make your own. Usually what I do is I take one of my favorite necklaces that will match my dress or whatever I'm wearing. And I like this little beaded one, it has gold in it; so, it's definitely going to pick up, you know, lights from the camera or the sun or it will just look really nice in pictures. So, I'm just going to open it up, like that and I'm going to just hold it in half and just kind of work with the placement of the beads in my hand. And I'm just kind of hanging them on my fingers a little bit and I'm just going to pull a little bit here, a little bit there and that way, we get like a bit of a draped look like this. And once we have our little style all set, you just want to kind of see where you want your jewelry to go. I like it draping in the back. So, I'm going to place a bobby pin and just stick it in where you need it to go. And I'm just securing with my finger until I'm ready to let go, until I'm sure it's really secure. And I'm just going to do across over the first bobby pin, just to make sure that it is locked in nice and tight in there. And you can keep it hanging or you can just kind of place it around how you want. I'm going to do a little bit of a wrapping here and just kind of wrap my jewels around. And you just want to make sure that as you're doing this, you're hiding the pieces of the necklace that, where your original necklace. But, you could also cut them off if you want. But, I'm just going to hide them in my style. And you're just going to pin as needed. It's usually good to pin when you have little cross points here, that way you can use a little bit less pins and just have more of the jewelry peaking through. So, I'm going to do one more pin; I think it looks really pretty with that hanging just a bit, so we're going to keep it that way. You could secure it a little bit more if you wanted, but I really like the way this looks. And just make sure that everything looks really nice, if you're doing it on yourself, use a mirror and use, use two mirrors so you can see from the back exactly what you're doing after you have your style. So, here we go; here is our look from the back and from the side. My name is Claire Coleman, I'm a Hairstylist, and I just showed you how to make your own bridal hair jewelry.
