Hi, everyone, I'm hairstylist Amanda Shackleton with NYbridalbeauty.com, and today I'm here to show you how to add volume to long curly hair. I like two products, I like a volumizing boost and I also like a dry hairspray or a dry shampoo and then the only other things you need is a blow dryer. It's very very simple. What you do is just section your hair with a big clip and add a little bit of the mousse to the base of the hair or the roots, just take maybe one inch sections, three quarters of an inch sections, depending on the natural texture of your hair. If you have very fine hair, you may want to put a little bit more in. And then you go ahead and do the same thing to the other side. I'm going to do the other side with the dry shampoo. Now if it's the second day and your hair isn't completely clean and you want to get your hair, give it a little more volume, dry shampoos are a great way to go ahead and spice up your hair without having to wash it again. So just putting a little bit of dry shampoo in the base and then you do the same exact thing to both sides. You just take your blow dryer, turn it on, at a very hot setting and just scrunch the base of the hair like that. It's really really simple. You can also use a little mitt on the end of your blow dryer which will help as well to create a little more volume and just keep scrunching and lifting, scrunching and lifting. Okay, and then once you're done, take a little bit of hairspray and just give the front a nice spray like that. And that's all you do, that's a really simple way to get some volume to naturally curly hair. I'm Amanda Shackleton and I'm a hairstylist.
