Hi, my name is Sumita Batra and I'm the CEO of Ziba Beauty. We're going to discuss today the difference between waxing and threading your eyebrows. With wax, you have to wait for the hair to be a certain length to actually pull the hair out of the follicle. With threading, the artist can pull out the hair as soon as it's ready to pop out of the follicle of the top layer of the skin. With waxing, you are removing the top layer of the dead skin which causes a lot of rashes and discoloration over time as well as ache. With threading, you are doing a mild exfoliation of the surface of the skin so rashes and discoloration are nonexistent and so is the possibility of getting acne breakouts. With waxing, you are the possibility of the artist burning you or you burning yourself are high and the shape that you get is quite linear because you are restricted by the actual piece of cloth that you are using the tip the skin with. Whereas with thread, the artist has a lot of control and you are able to probably get the best shape possible for your face shape. I'm Sumita Batra, and that's the difference between threading and waxing.
