My name is Nicole Lundy, master makeup artiest at nelanibeauty.com, and I'm going to talk to you about how to apply makeup to Asian eyes. So on our model today we already have the left eye done and we are going to demonstrate on the right eye. So we're going to start out with applying an eyeshadow base and I'm using concealer as the eyeshadow base you can also use primer or a paint prime. Look down. So we're going to apply it very close to the lid because Asian eyes naturally don't have a crease to work with we don't want to go all the way up to where the eyeballs stops on how we do it regularly for other ethnicity eyes. So next I'm going to apply a matte shadow and in the light brown family and I'm going to apply it across the entire eyelid. Open. Keeping it very low you don't want to go up too high, on Asian eyes you probably want to go I would say, half, a half centimeter or less. Next we're going to apply a colored shadow. So for the Asian eyes we want to keep the color shadow in the middle of the lids. So going on top of where we placed the first eyeshadow we want to keep it in the center, not going all the way to ether side. And then we want to blend up. Then we're going to take a very flesh colored eyeshadow and blend on the top. After this is done we want to use an eyeliner and for Asian eyes you want to go a little thicker. Making sure it's even to the other side. And then lastly, mascara and just apply mascara liberally to the eyelashes. My name is Nicole Lundy, master makeup artiest at nelanibeauty.com and I just showed you how to do Asian eyes.
