Hey, this is Danny J. in South Lake, Texas at Camp Hero Fitness, and I'm going to show you how to do a bicep curl to an overhead press. A bicep curl to an overhead press is using two different exercises to make a compound movement. You start with a curl. You're going to rotate your hands around, press up, touch the dumbbells together, bring them back down, rotate the wrist and lower slowly. So speeded up it looks like this, curl to a press and then back down. This move gives you two exercises in one basically, compound movements actually increase your metabolism and you're going to get a little bit of heart rate increase so you're going to get a little bit of cardio out of this. You can add this to a circuit and make it really just up the intensity of any work out.
