Hey, this is Danny J. I'm in South Lake, Texas at Camp Hero Fitness, and today I'm going to show you how to use equipment to stretch out your calves. People get really tight calves, especially if you are a female and you're in high heels a lot, your calves can get very tight and you really need to stretch them. A great stretch you can do is putting your foot up against a wall and leaning into it. You can also just do simple things on the ground like putting your heel down and pressing but I want to show you a quick one you can do with some equipment, the foam roller. You see these foam rollers a lot at the gym and most people don't know what to do with them so you put the foam roller out in front of you. You're actually going to put your foot right on top of it and from here you need to lift your body weight up a little bit and put pressure on the foam roller so you're going to lift up and you're going to roll down a little bit until you feel those knots in your calves and you will feel this. Right when you feel those knots you just want to hold it about 20 to 30 seconds. You can roll down a little farther and just go back and forth like you are giving yourself a massage, rotate it in and get the whole calf stretched out really well. Again, this is Danny J. at Camp Hero Fitness, and I just showed you how to use equipment to stretch your calves.
