Hey, this is Danny J. in South Lake, Texas. I'm at Camp Hero Fitness, and I'm going to show you how to do calf raises with your toes turned in. Heel raises are a great exercise for your calves and you can do them anywhere. You can do them on steps and get a really good extension or you can just do them on the ground. A great way to modify your heel raises are to do it with your toes turned in. So when your toes are turned in you are actually working a slightly different angle which helps strengthen the entire calf muscle. It's really great if you are a runner or even if you are just in sports and you want to go faster because you want a full strength calf. When you are doing your toes in heel raises, you want to start with your feet a little bit wider than shoulder width apart. Your toes are just slightly in, you don't need to be over extended because you're going to hurt your knees so toes are only slightly in and then you're going to just lift the heels up, keep those knees facing each other and come back down slowly. You should feel it a little more on the outside of your legs and it's a really good strength move. Again, this is Danny J. at Camp Hero Fitness, and I just showed you how to do toes turned in, heel raises.
