Hi, my name is Jacqui Phillips, and I'm a beauty expert for eHow. The best way to apply eye shadow without it caking in your false eyelashes is to put on the eye shadow first. That is the best way to make sure that you don't have anything in your false eyelashes. If you're already wearing the eyelashes or you are wearing semi-permanent eyelashes, then I have a very easy solution for you. You are going to apply the eye shadow. I'm doing a very very loose one because mineral eye shadows are very popular right now. And then, you're going to just apply the shadow everywhere and now as you can see, some got on her lashes. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to get a flat brush, I'm going to dip it in a little bit of water, make sure it's not soaking wet and I'm just going to brush off the powder on the lashes that fell down. And then, I'm going to let it sit for like a minute, let it dry for a minute and then I'm going to get another flat brush and I'm going to put mascara on it and once I put the mascara on it, I'm just going to coat it onto the lashes and then this will get rid of all the powder. And this is the perfect way to get rid of any eye shadow that could possibly have caked on your false eyelashes.
