Hi, this is Jacqui Phillips, and I am an expert for eHow. The best way to keep bronzer from looking blotchy is to make sure you exfoliate your face first. Then, use a tinted moisturizer or a foundation, apply it all over your face and your neck, and then you can go and use the bronzer. I love to use a kabuki brush with my bronzer, and I just apply it evenly all over my face. Make sure you get under your nose, and you always want to make sure that you get your neck. If you get all this over your face, and you get the even coverage, everyone will just think you have a great tan.
