Hey there, my name is Jay Jones, Celebrity Peak Performance Coach and Fitness Minister. And today, I'm going to demonstrate a few arm exercises that you can do while sitting on a plane. Now, a lot of times we find ourselves jammed for time. But, if we can implement some small exercises and some of the most unusual places, I think we'll be able to really squeeze in a little bit of fitness. And we all know the mantra, a little bit of something beats a whole lot of nothing. So, this is what we're going to do today. We're going to get our core standing up. So, we're sitting in a chair, we're going to imagine that this is my small little airplane compartment chair. So, while we have our arms here by our sides, sometimes we have the arm raise here, palms out and I want you to imagine that you're Arnold Schwarzenegger or a big body builder and I want you to curl a heavy weight and squeeze those biceps tight. You'll feel your biceps engage. Squeeze the weight and curl right up to your shoulders. Now, what we're doing, we're activating our neuro-muscular connection. Although this doesn't seem like a lot, if you tell your body that you're lifting a lot of weight, the body does not really know the difference. So, the same muscles fire, the same tissues and muscles activate. So, you want to keep the chest up, breath and hold. Now, that's for the biceps. As we sit long, all we want to do is raise our arms up as if we're scratching the middle of our back and extend our arm as high as we can, tightening the tricep as we get to the top. Up and tighten. Scratch the top of the back and squeeze all the way up and tighten. We call that tuck time under tension. Those muscles will activate, I promise, you may didn't bust a sweat. My name is Jay Jones, Celebrity Peak Performance Coach and Fitness Minister and those are just two exercises that you can do while sitting on an airplane.
