I'm Kristen McDowell with VivoPools and VivoSpas in Southern California, and I'm going to show you how to replace a heater element on your hot tub. First you'll want to turn off the power to your hot tub and you will also need to drain your hot tub because once you take the equipment out it's going to open up the lines and the hot tub is going to drain so you're going to drain that first. You're going to locate your equipment pack underneath the skirt, find out how to remove the heater pack, move the entire pack to a work table to make it easier to work on, open up the pack and then you'll need to remove the power leads to the heating element, you might want to mark these with a little piece of tape and put a tag on there so you know which one is which because it is important, okay? Remove any screws that are holding the heating, heater housing on, remove the heater housing, then if you want to replace just the heating element which is inside of this housing you'll need to remove these two nuts here and then just work the heating element out, put the new one in, put that back together and then reinstall it into the pack and then reinstall your pack on to your hot tub, fill your hot tub back up and you're good to go. I'm Kristen McDowell with VivoPools and VivoSpas in Southern California, and that's how you replace a heating element on your hot tub.
