Hi, I’m Emily Jones, fitness expert and competitor here at Camp Hero Fitness in Southlake, Texas. And, I’m going to demonstrate to you today how to do a lying leg curl at home with dumbbells. The great thing about this exercise is, actually, you can do it in the comfort of your own home. Most of us probably don’t have a leg curl machine in our living room or our garage, so I’m going to show you how to do a leg curl with a dumbbell. And, you can just lie down on any surface in your own home. You’re going to lay on your tummy, putting your hands in front of you, and your feet are going to wrap around the dumbbell – squeeze tightly so you don’t lose the dumbbell. You’re going to curl up, squeezing your hamstrings and your glutes. Go all the way, and then lower it slowly. That’ll be one rep. You can continue to do it for 15 reps. Once you’re done, place the dumbbell on the floor. You can sit up and rest for about 60 to 90 seconds. Then, we’ll complete it for three sets. And again, I’m Emily Jones, fitness expert and competitor here at Camp Hero Fitness in Southlake, Texas. And, I just demonstrated to you how to do a leg curl at home with dumbbells.
