Hi, my name is Emily Jones, fitness expert and competitor, and I'm going to demonstrate to you how to get a bigger chest using dumbbells. One of the approaches you can choose to train your chest to increase your muscle mass is actually increasing the weight with each set. We're going to do about 12 reps and I have my weights already set out here and it's increasing. First I'm going to choose a lighter weight doing a chest press. I'm going to do about 12 reps. Once I've completed the 12 reps, I'll rest for about 60 to 90 seconds and then I will increase my weight. One of the benefits of increasing your weight is actually breaking down your muscle. Once you've completed your second set, this will be your final set, also increasing your weight, usually about five pounds to 10 pound increments. Once you've completed the third set, you're done with your exercise.
