Hi, I'm Emily Jones, Fitness Expert and Competitor, and I'm going to demonstrate to you a front squat to a dumbbell press. The benefit of doing a dumbbell squat to a dumbbell press is actually we're going to be working out three major muscle groups; our gluts, our quads and our deltoids. First thing you're going to do is take a dumbbell set that's heavy enough, putting resistance during our squat, but also light enough that you can lift up and do a dumbbell press. First thing is the dumbbell squat; you're going to squat down and make sure that you keep your back straight. Your knees and your toes are going to be aligned with your chest, squatting deeply you're going to come up, you're going to bring the dumbbells up to your shoulders and you're going to press them over your head, keeping a slight bend in your elbows. You're going to bring the dumbbells down back to your shoulders and then back to your waist. And that's one rep. You're going to continue to do this, make sure that it's a fluid motion, back up for a press. Make sure you're concentrating on your breathing throughout the exercise. And again, I'm Emily Jones, Fitness Expert and Competitor, and I just demonstrated to you dumbbell squat to a dumbbell press. Have a great day.
