Hi, I'm Emily Jones, fitness competitor and expert, and I am going to be demonstrating to you the difference between alternating dumbbell press and normal dumbbell press. One of the benefits of choosing an alternating dumbbell press verses a normal dumbbell press is actually isolating your muscles, doing your right deltoid verses your left. Now I'm going to demonstrate alternating dumbbell press. You're gonna get in your starting position, shoulder width apart and you're going to press to your right, make sure that you keep a slight bend in your elbows and then your left concentrating on each deltoid each time. So that would've been 1 rep. We're gonna do about 12 to 15 until your muscles are fatigued. Once you're done just place your dumbbells on the floor, rest for about 60 to 90 seconds and then we'll do 3 sets, and again I'm Emily Jones fitness expert and competitor and I just demonstrated to you the difference between alternating dumbbell press and normal dumbbell press. Have a good day.
