Hey, guys. Welcome. I'm Chef DAS, and today I'm going to teach you guys how to make buffalo wings. It's a simple thing. First thing you want to start off with a nice drumette chicken wing. So first thing you want to do is take your chicken wing and I am going to season the chicken. The thing about seasoning, you can always add but you can never take away. So it's very important when you're seasoning your meat to just add a little bit at a time and after the end result if you need more you can always add. So right now I'm just going to add a little bit of salt and pepper. Now I love using kosher salt. Kosher salt has larger crystals and you don't take a lot to flavor the food. So I'm just going to take a pinch. Now the reason I call it a pinch is because I'm really grabbing a pinch with my fingers and just seasoning the meat with that. And I'll grab a pinch of coarse black pepper as well. Then I'll just mix those wings in really good. Now here's my secret ingredient. I'm giving this one to you guys today. This is yellow mustard. Now what yellow mustard does for chicken wings is it gives it a crazy, crazy texture. With the yellow mustard and the flour that I'll add in later the texture of those two combinations make the chicken really crispy and that's the way I like mine. So we'll just add a little bit of yellow mustard here. Now with the yellow mustard. You want to make sure you coat it really well. The more you coat the more flavor and the more texture and crunchiness it'll have. Now I'll add my flour. And this is just all purpose white flour you can find at any grocery store. And again, with the flour, I want to make sure we coat it really well. Now these deep fryers are very convenient to have at your home. And they sell them at any grocery store or any Target, Best Buy, things of that sort. You can get a nice counter top deep fryer. It'll make your life much easier. So now that I put these chicken wings, the temperature is set at about 350 degrees. I'll drop these in for about 10 to 15 minutes. Now I've already had a batch in before I dropped these original wings, so these are about ready to go now. And the first thing you want to do is just shake out all the excess oil. You don't want to keep any excess oil around. And once you have that you can drop these right into your buffalo wing sauce. So I'll take my chicken wing out and drop that right in. Now if you don't have a deep fryer like this at home you can use a regular old pot and just make sure that your chicken is covered with oil. So now that my chicken wings are in my sauce I'm going to mix these up real good. So now that I have my chicken wings nice and glazed I'm going to put them right onto my plate. With this recipe it was really simple. We used about 6 or 7 chicken wings. We used a cup of mustard. We used a cup of all-purpose flour, we used about 2 cups of Franks Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce. Toss it in and it's a magical thing. Do this for any super bowl party, if you're friends want to just come over and watch some football and hang out, this will be a treat.
