Hey, guys, I'm Chef DAS. What we're going to do here today is make Sushi molds for kids. Now, it may be hard to get your kids to eat Sushi at times but if you make it look like something they're familiar with, they may be willing to try it and it's very easy to make. Today what we're going to do is make a healthy version of this Sushi mold. We're going to use vegetables. We're going to use some red peppers, green peppers and carrots. So it will be pretty to look at, nice color and it will look like an ice cream cone. So the first thing we are going to do is we have our peppers and our carrots already cut. I've pre-cut these into thin julienne strips. Now what julienne means is thin strips. So use a sharp knife, you take your peppers, you peel your carrot and you do a nice cut on them. Now I also have my Sushi rice. I have my soy sauce. I have my wasabi and I have my pickled ginger. Let's make the molds. So we take our Nori, use some water to make sure your hands are wet at all times because the sticky rice will stick on your hands if not. So we're going to put this all over our Nori. This is fun for the kids to do. Now we're going to take our vegetables. We're going to kind of put those in the corner because we're going to roll it up. Now that you have your vegetables in, it's easy. You take it, you fold it over, you cover the top of the vegetables. You take your other end and you just wrap it around. If you want, you can put a little pickled ginger on top. You then take a little water just to make the Nori stick, and there's your Sushi mold for kids. I hope you enjoy it. See you soon.
