Hey guys, welcome. I'm Chef DAS. Today, what I'm going to teach you is a quick recipe, it's coconut-encrusted chicken tenders. It's a kid's favorite, I guarantee you. So, the first thing we're going to do is show you guys all the ingredients that we have here. We have mayo and this is going to be for our sauce. I've nice black pepper, Kosher salt. Now, this curry powder is going to be used with the mayonnaise to make the dipping sauce for the chicken fingers. Now we have a nice chicken breast. This is a boneless skinless chicken breast. I have some eggs; this here is called an egg wash and this is going to be used for my breading of the chicken tender. Lastly, this is the main ingredient. Here's our coconut flakes with a little bit of panko breadcrumbs. Now, we're ready to go. So, I take my chicken breast; I place that on my cutting board vertical and out of this chicken breast is a nice; it's about five to six ounces. So, I'm going to get about four strips out of this. Let me add a little bit of seasoning, a pinch of Kosher salt right on the cutting board. A pinch of black pepper right on the cutting board. I'm going to mix it altogether. The next thing we're going to do is breading. This is basically called a standard breading procedure and the way you want to line this up is the exact way that you're going to use it. So, the first thing that I have here is flour which I forgot to mention earlier. It's an important part of the breading procedure. I also have eggs and I also have my coconut flakes and it's going to go straight into the fryer, so that way when I dip, I dip, I dip, I fry. So, the first thing I'll do is I put all my chicken in my flour; I'll make sure it gets nice and coated. So, now I'm going to take all the chicken and put that in my egg. And again, coat this really well. Now, with this I took my gloves off 'cause you really want to get in there. With cooking, you can't be afraid to get your hands dirty. Now, I'm going to take my coconut. So, once I have all my chicken in, I drop them. So now, this is going to take about ten minutes. The chicken fingers are nice and coated with the coconut batter and they're deep frying. So, while that's going, I'm going to make my dipping sauce. So, I take my mayo, dump that in the bowl. And I'll take my curry powder and add that in. Now, curry powder is really strong, but with the mayo, it's going to give it a great flavor. Make sure you mix it really really good. And I'm going to pull my chicken tenders out. I'm going to place them right around the edge of the plate with the sauce being in the center. So, now we're done. We have our coconut-encrusted chicken tenders with our curry aioli. I hope you enjoy it, see you soon.
