Hi, I'm Erin Hendley, professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you how you can make your own liquid mineral makeup. First of all I advise that most of the time mineral makeup comes in powder form so creating a liquid one if you must can be done like this. Take any kind of vitamin that you have that can be applied through a serum or an ointment and so we have Vitamin E here and then we're mixing it in with a liquid foundation that's key, mixing liquid with liquid and so we're just diffusing the two. The mineral E oil, Vitamin E oil will thin out the foundation so keep that in mind if you need a full coverage. But liquid foundation in general doesn't provide too much coverage. So we're just mixing the two together with the brush. More foundation, less on the Vitamin E oil because the oil tends to get pretty oily. So what we're going to do is just apply it onto the face, just the necessary areas. You can apply it all over if desirable but I would really only place it on the areas that you see are a little dry because it can tend to read quite oily on the skin and that's why I highly recommend using the powder mineral makeups but this does provide you a makeshift alternative if you just need to find a household concoction. So it's up to you if you want to go all over the skin or if you just want to pinpoint certain areas which is what I recommend. I'm Erin Hendley, and I just showed you how to make a liquid mineral makeup.
