Hi, I'm Yvette with Handstand Kids Cookbook Company. Today, we're using our Chinese Cookbook Kit to adapt a Halloween cookie recipe for a children's party. Come join us in the kitchen. Alright, so make these Chinese noodle clusters for your kid's Halloween party, we're going to start with some Chinese noodles. You can get these in any store, usually in the ethnic aisle, but they are there. So, we're going to pour them in. And we here some, you can use bitter-sweet chocolate chips, which I like, or you can use milk chocolate, but depending on what your kids enjoy. We're going to just pour in a little bit of vegetable oil. So, when you heat these up, it's a little bit smoother. And then, the next step is to go and heat these. You can use a double boiler, but today, we're just going to pop them in the microwave. So, I do them in 30 second increments and check it, give it a stir every 30 seconds. So, it should be 90 seconds to two minutes, and they'll be melted through. Here's our nice consistency, so we're going to go ahead and pour the melted chocolate right over our chocolate chips. Sometimes for different batches, I like to add in peanuts or shaved almonds, but today, we're just going to make a pure chocolate cluster. And then, we're going to go ahead and mix it together. Make sure the chocolate coats all the noodles. So, when they're harden, they're really stick together in little clusters and the oil will help with that too. So, make sure when you're mixing, you don't break up the noodles too much, you want to just gently mix it together, so the chocolate's mixed through. And then, once it's all mixed, you're going to use a little ice cream scooper, or any type of scoop that's going to hold it together. So, you get a nice, little scoop in there, kind of let it form. And then, when you flip it over, kind of, give it that little shake, so it stays like that. And depending on the age of the kids and how many you want them to eat at a time, you can make them in smaller ones. You could use tablespoons too, if you want to do tiny clusters to make small spiders. But they are really delicious, so I like making them bigger. These are just Red Hots that we can use for the eyes. You can get creative and use all different sorts of candies, candy corns are fun, but I like a little pop of red. So, before they harden, you're just going to go ahead and pop in the eyes there, here we go. And then, you can leave them on the counter, if you're in a rush, you could just pop them in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes or so, and they're ready to go. Thanks for joining us today, in making our spooky Halloween clusters from our Chinese Cookbook Kit. Hope you have the best spooky Halloween ever.
