Hey, everybody, This is Chef Mareya with eatcleaner.com, and today I'm going to show you how to wash blackberries properly. Now some of you may saying, wash? Don't you just use water? The answer is no because berries are are picked in the field you want to make sure that you're really cleaning them. I mean what else do we we wash with just water alone? So we created The Eat Cleaner product, this is a patent pending lab proven way to clean the residue that water can't remove from your fresh fruit. So I'm going to basically take my black berries right out of the package, remember what I said, these are picked and packed in the field and so if your in the store and you're sampling them without having them washed, please don't do that, that's my biggest pet peeve. So I'm going to take my blackberries and I'm going to spray these with The Eat Cleaner liberally, you want to soak them. This is food grade wash so it's not like cleaning with soap which is not created to be used on your food, this is formulated specifically for food. Now you can see how nice and shiny these are, I'm going to leave The Eat Cleaner Wash on here for about 2 minutes, I'm going to give them a quick rinse with water and then they're going to be ready to eat. So after 2 minutes I'll show you what these look like. Okay so I've cleaned, the operative word here is cleaned my berries with The Eat Cleaner Fruit and Vegetable Wash, it's specifically formulated to clean residue like wax, pesticide residue and just from being in the field that water can't and then I gave them a quick rinse with water. You can see all the stuff that comes out in my bowl. And I like to clean them in a salad spinner like this because you can just pull the basket out pour them into your bowl and you're ready to eat. And the great thing about The Eat Cleaner Wash too is when you bring your berries home from the store you can prewash these and it will help them last up to 200 percent longer. So all you have to do is rinse your berries off and enjoy. So good, so delicious and so easy to use. I'm Chef Mareya with eatcleaner.com. This is how to clean blackberries the right way. I hope you watch my other videos and I'll see you really soon.
