Hey there. My name is Jay Jones, celebrity peak performance coach and fitness minister, and today we're going to execute a side lunge kick. Now the side lunge kick is a powerful adversary if you find yourself in a jam or for great cardio conditioning. Now I like to use a heavy bag when I train with the kicks because it offers some resistance and that builds impact training which helps densen the muscles and keeps the bones nice and hard and nice and thick. So let me show you what we're going to do. We're going to start off by stepping out and we're going to focus on the bag. We're going to take a slow motion step in with the other foot, when the right foot touches, the left knee comes up, boom and kicks right through the bag. Alright, now let's do it full speed so we start out and we take a step in, pow and we follow through allowing the power to be generated from the hips and pushed through the heels so the whole body is forcing the energy out. One more time, we're going to take a step out and we're going to come in, pow.
