Hey there, my name is Jay Jones, celebrity peak performance coach and fitness minister, and today we're going to demonstrate some exercises that you can do lying down to strengthen your legs. Alright so we're going to be lying down here, obviously we're going to lay on our backs and this first move all we want to do is drive our heels into the ground forcing our hips off the ground, hands are down beside us and we're going to march, get all the way up on your toes, that hip and those gastros that we talked about earlier, hamstrings and we march, legs up, reach as high as you can get them, lying flat on your back, do as many reps as you can and the second exercise to build leg strength on your back is you actually want to increase our flexibility. So from the back we're going to pull up, reach and grab your toes. By grabbing your toes you are stretching those hamstrings, by stretching those hamstrings you are increasing your strength and power because remember, a bow won't fly far, an arrow won't fly far if the bow is tight. We have to get a loose bow to create energy and power and the arrow will fly forever. So we're down, back, reaching up and back. Obviously you are working your core at the same time and reach for those toes. If you can't touch your toes, do your very best, incrementally work, incrementally work until you can grab them. My name is Jay Jones, celebrity peak performance coach and fitness minister and those are just two exercises that you can do to help build leg strength while lying on your back.
