Hey there, my name is Jay Jones, celebrity peak performance coach and fitness minister, and today I'm going to demonstrate how to do a clapping push-up to work your fast twitch muscles. Alright now the push-up again of course everybody knows is one of my favorite exercises because there are just so many variations. Now I'm going to show you a fantastic variation. This is an advanced move so I want everybody to give it a try but if you cannot do it, don't even worry about it. There's so many other push-ups that you can do to build up that is exercise. Alright so this is going to work your fast twitch muscles, the quick reaction muscles, the ones that don't require a lot of oxygen. So this is the move. So we get down in our normal push-up position and we go down but instead of coming up normal like we normally do, we want to explode, down and up and clap and clap and clap and you want to catch your body gently coming down, clap, and again breathing is essential. You want to breathe in as you go down, exhale out as you come up, one more time, in and out.
