Hey my name is Jay Jones, celebrity peak performance coach and fitness minister, and today I'm going to demonstrate two arabesque back exercises. Now the arabesque is a very popular ballet position and ballerinas are extremely conditioned athletes. So I'm going to demonstrate two back exercises borrowed from the world of the ballerina. These are arabesque back exercises. You may have seen them before. The first exercise we're going to do, we start them all off on our belly. The first one we're going to extend our arms straight out, legs straight out and what we want to do is we want to lift the left leg and the right arm, the opposite arm. We're lifting up and down as we lift, we arch our back and reach as high as we can. The second exercise we're going to get both legs and both feet off the ground. So we're down, lift and down, lift and down, lift and down. Those are two very good back exercises using the arabesque method. My name is Jay Jones, celebrity peak performance coach and fitness minister.
