Hello there, my name is Jay Jones, celebrity peak performance coach and fitness minister, and today I will demonstrate for you the side leg squat. Squats again are one of my favorite exercises because they are such a powerful lower body builder and of course our foundation is what we carry ourselves on every day so the legs have got to be nice and shored up. So one of the best ways we can do that is a side squat, side leg squat. So this is what we're going to do. We're going to put our hands in the front, again the guard position, elbows by the ribcage. We're going to step out to the side, push the hips back and then push back to center, again step off to the opposite side, push the hips back so we're not hyper extending that knee over the toe, back as flat as you can get it and push up, one more time, back, down, and up. Back, down and up. My name is Jay Jones, celebrity peak performance coach and fitness minister and that is what it looks like to do a side single leg squat.
