Hi, I'm Erin Hendley, Professional Makeup Artist, and today I'm going to show you how you can do your makeup like Audrina. Audrina Patridge is one of the reality stars on MTV, I think she's on the show, "The Hills," and so, what we're going to do is really just mimic her eye makeup. She has a pretty natural skin going on with a glow and she's pretty tan, and so, she usually opts for a neutral eye shadow and then maybe just a pop of gold. A lot of the celebrities opt for that, it seems to be the trend going on. So, what we're going to do is take our neutral color palette here and work with the khaki colors first. So, right now, I'm just going in and using an all over color for her lids. So, that means to go next the base of the lashes and even up towards the brow bone. This is just the color that, it doesn't really show up but it does prevent anything from appearing through, such as any light skin discolorations that might occur because the skin on the eye is the thinnest. So, we do naturally see more skin discoloration around there. After we have that down, we're going to work in with a little bit of a darker color, not too much darker in the palette, but it adds a little bit of depth and definition. And really just working on the outside corners and just blending it together. You can use a pretty big brush, the look isn't too artificial looking and isn't graphic. It's pretty much just blend in and casual looking, California cool, almost beachy. Then, what I'm going to do is go in with our gold color and just pop that in on the crease. A lot of times shimmer isn't recommended on the crease, but to duplicate her look, when you're young, you can pretty much pull it off. So, it's still a nice look. The more you blend the gold, the more you can wear it during the daytime, but if you want to rock it at night, you don't have to blend it as much. And we're just going to do the same to the other side, just adding that definition. And Audrina's eyes are rather close together, they're close set; so, it's important to keep the makeup on the outer part of the eye and not bring too much inside. We don't want them to appear closer than they are. So, keeping everything on the outside of the lid is important. And now we have this nice glowing look. Pop on some fake lashes really duplicate it if you want to give it more of that red carpet glow and you'll be having a fun, fabulous look. I'm Erin Hendley, and I just showed you how to do makeup like Audrina.
