Hi, my name is Claire Coleman. I'm a hairstylist and I'm going to show you how to do a wedding hairstyle with braids and curls. So first we're going to start off by curling the hair. I'm going to use a one and a half inch curling iron and I'm just going to take sections and curl away from the face and we're going to be doing a rope curl. So you are basically twisting the hair around the barrel of your curling iron and just hold it, let it heat up and then you can drop the curl. And you're just going to continue around your hair, just do it all around your head and just keep doing the rope curl method like that. Okay and after we do that, we're going to be taking the little bit of the front section, here we go, just a little bit of that section and we're going to do a quick little braid. And you're going to be wanting to do your braid and make it pretty tight to the head. So you want to pull it back the exact direction that you want it to follow. So you're just going to do a braid, you're going to just fold the strands over one another and I'm doing this one pretty loose because it's going to keep the shape of her head and not be too tight or too severe around the front of her face. And then just secure that with a bobby pin in the back and we're just going to do the same thing on the other side. Another quick little braid and again pulling it close to the head but still keeping it a loose braid. And we're just going to cross this over the one that you just made and pinned and I'm just going to kind of make, I'm going to unpin it and just kind of create a little knot, just for a little extra detail. It just makes it a little bit more interesting and then you're just going to pin that and then use one more pin just to secure it and you're just going to be locking your pin in an X. Here's the back, you can see a nice little knot with the braid and from the front. My name is Claire Coleman. I'm a hairstylist, and I just showed you how to do a bridal hairstyle with braids and curls.
