Hi, my name is Claire Coleman. I'm a Hairstylist; I'm going to show you how to do an elegant bridal updo. First, we're going to start with our hair in a nice high ponytail. Just gather it all to the top and secure with a bungee. And we're just going to do a nice simple bun. So, her hair is really long, so it makes it so much easier if you separate it into two sections. And you're just going to start twisting the section, one section at a time and just twist it and place it around the bungee. So, I'm actually going to start pinning just because it makes it easier to secure as you go and that way, you're really building off of a foundation for your hairstyle. And once you're wrapping the hair around, you want to make sure to keep your second ponytail in the center 'cause we're going to be wrapping that around this one as well. And just make sure to keep pinning and twisting, and it's going to give a really nice beautiful pattern in the hair. And just keep going and tuck your ends inside. Here we go. And you just want to make sure that everything feels really secure and that's why you're using so many pins. And you're just going to take your second section and begin twisting that one and just follow the same direction. I like to work in a clockwise direction, for me it just seems easier that way and you're going to be wrapping around the first bun that you just made. So, it's good to just start it off and pin immediately because it's going to be a little bit loose right here, so this is a great place to pin your first one on your second section. And just continue and you just want to twist and pin and make sure that your ends stay in. I want this to be a little bit of a messier bun, so I wasn't too concentrated on getting everything and I like how it looks a little bit wispy and it's a little, has a little bit more romanticism in it. And just make sure that everything feels great and we can see from the back and from the front. My name is Claire Coleman. I'm a Hairstylist, and I just showed you how to do an elegant bridal updo.
