Hi, my name is Claire Coleman, I'm a hairstylist, and I'm going to show you how to braid deep, wavy hair. Now, I'm going to be using a texture spray, it has a light wax in it, and it's a spray wax. So, it's going to be easy to put on. I like to actually spray onto my hand, rub my hands together, and just run it through the hair. Wavy hair can tend to be a little bit frizz, so this is going to help you to smooth everything down. If you feel like you need a little bit more, just spray onto your hand, rub it in your hands and just work it through. And we're just going to do a little three strand braid. And you're just going to section the hair into three separate sections. Trying to make sure that they're even sections as well, that way, you'll have a nice, even looking braid. And you're going to take your first section and fold it over the center, take you back section and fold it over the piece that you just crossed over the center section. And you're just going to keep following that, in that pattern, using your hand, one of your hands are secure. While you wrap the other, use your other hand to wrap the other hair around the strands. And I like to just pull my hands through, just to make sure that everything stays nice and smooth. And you're just going to keep going until you reach the end of your hair. Once you get the hang of it, becomes pretty fast, pretty easy to do. So, you just want to make sure that it's nice and clean and smooth. And the wax really, really helps to take down the frizziness and it's super light. So, it's not going to make you feel like you have a ton of product in your hair, or that it feels sticky, it's really light. And once you're done with your braid, you're just going to secure it with a hair tie. And I like to do one more round of the wax, rub it through my hands, and just smooth it all over. There we go. My name is Claire Coleman, I'm a hairstylist, and I just showed you how to braid deep, wavy hair.
