Hi, I'm Chef Barbara Mattaliano from Goose Valley Natural Foods. Today, I'm going to show you how to make rice in a stainless steel pan. It's so easy, you'll never want to make rice on the stove-top again, I promise. It's my sister's favorite way to make rice. All you do, you just measure out your rice and your water, put it in a stainless steel pan, cover it with foil and then bake it in the oven. So today I'm using our Basmati Wild Fusion and you can use chicken stock but I'm using one chicken bullion cube that I have just sprinkled on top here. So you just pour the rice in and then for this white rice blend I'm using a one and a half cup ratio. So I'm using three cups of water. So you just pour it on top, it's that easy and then cover it with foil. We're going to bake it in the oven for one hour at 350 degrees. I usually take it out and check it at 30 minutes. That's how simple it is and you're going to love it and I can't wait to show you how fluffy and amazing this rice is. Okay so let's put it in the oven and set the timer on. Okay so our 30 minutes are up and I'm going to get our rice out of the oven and our stainless steel pan. Okay, put it on top, take the foil off, oh it looks great. It's just such an easy way to cook rice. You just, I have my silicone spatula now and I'm just going to put it alongside the edges of the pan and I'm going to pick it up and I'm going to actually just tip out into a bowl. It's just a great way to get fluffy rice that you know, you don't have to tend to. You just put it in the pan, the water and the rice. You can use chicken stock or a little bullion and it's that simple and there you have it, rice in a stainless steel pan.
