Hey, I'm Skylar. iPad is an awesome device for reading email. And you can configure, you can set it up with lots of different email accounts too, so you know, 10, 20, however many email accounts you have you can all set them up, or set them all up in the mail app on iPad. But the one caveat to that is that it's really a single user device. So anyone who opens up mail on that iPad will be able to access any of those accounts. So how do you get around that. Well if you unlock your iPad and go to settings. Scroll down a little bit, find General, and under General go to restrictions. If you enable restrictions it'll ask you to set up a pin number, and then you can do things, you can turn stuff on and off. So you have some control over basic functionality of the iPad. The other thing you can do is set up a pass code lock on the iPad itself. So turn pass code on. Alright, so now when the iPad is put to sleep and woken up you have to enter a pass code in order to get into it. Those are two basic ways that you can restrict access to the iPad. But there's no simple way to keep somebody from looking at any one of the email accounts that's configured on the iPad unless they can't open the iPad actually. The other way to do it might be to get the g-mail app if you're a g-mail user and then adjust the settings in that so that only you have access to it. And there are a couple of other email clients in the app store that might allow you to do that too. But as far as the basic functionality goes no dice. Thanks for watching, I'm Skylar.
