Hi, I’m Leslie Gilbert-Morales, founder and stylist of Enhance Your Style. Today, I’m going to show you proper apparel colors for a winter engagement party. You don’t want to outdo the bride to be, so wear your colors in a thoughtful way. Colors that work are muted jewel tones, metallic, or embellished pieces. Your jewel tones can be in muted tones or placed in strategic places as details. Take, for example, this silver strapless dress. You can use this as a neutral. Add in your jewel tones in accessories, such as a clutch, or your earrings. Take this blue lace dress as an example. It’s in all-over blue, but because it’s in lace, it breaks up the color. This is a proper way to wear a bright tone to an engagement party. Black is a safe and easy way to go, but pay attention to the details when you wear that black dress. For example, adding contrasting color like this mauve sash, or a rhinestone pin, which brings attention to the face. These are the tips for proper apparel colors to wear to a winter engagement party. Thanks for watching.
