Hi, I'm Sara Holliday from fitbysara.com and I'm going to show you woman's exercises to tone your shoulders. I'm going to show you exercises to tone your shoulders. Now for you women you really don't need, need to use a lot of weight, you can use light weight and do high repetitions if you want to have that lean long look. So right here I have 3 pounds and 2 pounds and I'm going to choose to demonstrate with just 2 pounds. You might not want to use any weight at all when you first get started. So what we're going to do is we're going to start standing with the spine nice and tall and you're going exhale as you lift the arms up, make sure that your arms are inline with your shoulders and your wrists are flat, so you're going to inhale, exhaling out through the mouth. So we're working the front of your shoulder and you can do 10 to 15 repetitions like that and you should be able to do at least 10, if you can't you should drop your weight down a little bit. Then switch the hands, and I'm going to do the same motion going up again so we're working the just the front of the shoulders, 10 to 15 repetitions. Now we're going to work the side of the shoulder so you're going to stand nice and tall and you're going to exhale bringing the arms inline with the shoulder, inhaling and exhaling as you lift it up. And you can probably see the muscles in my shoulders working here, working up to 10 to 15 repetitions. And you can do that entire sequence for 2 to 3 sets. I'm Sara Hilliday from fitbysara.com and I just showed you exercises to tone your shoulders.
