Hi, I'm Denise Druce, a fitness instructor in Salt Lake City, Utah. Let's look at how to do a king's pose which is a lunge with hip rotation. So you're going to want to choose a weight that you can hold out in front of you and sustain. So I'm using a med ball and this is a six pound ball. Then, you'll want to lunge forward with one leg making sure that your knee is right over your ankle and with your arms extended out you'll rotate toward the side of the leg that's in front of you. So it will look like this. This exercise is a great way to strengthen your glutes, your hamstrings, your quads and your core. So again, this is a king's lunge with rotation from the hip. I'm Denise Druce. For more fitness tips, please check out my website.
