Hi, I'm Chef Olivier Rousselle. Welcome to The Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel. Today, we're going to be making some heart shaped cookies with cream cheese. This is the finished product, a little bit of colored sugar just to decorate, just to make it more festive. You can do red or yellow and these are the ingredients I'm going to use. So we have some flour here, a little butter, some cream cheese of course, sugar and this sugar is for decorating purposes. I'm basically going to use the food processor just cream everything in there, let the dough rest and then roll it out. So, put the cream cheese in, a little bit of butter of course, very important, sugar. Then process it until it actually looks like a smooth dough just like this. Let it rest for probably 20 minutes or so. It will work a lot better once you do it. So then you'll want to roll it out, that's the fun part. So put a little bit of flour on your workspace, grab the dough and with a pin roller just basically roll it to half an inch thick, just enough for it to cut it. Then you want to grab your cookie cutter, add a little bit of flour, just so it cuts it nicely like so, like a little bit of it and I've made some earlier on so you basically want to lay them on your sheet. So then you want to bake them for about eight minutes at 350 degrees until golden brown like this. When they are still warm you want to put a little bit of butter so your colored sugar can stick to it, red or yellow, something festive and basically then you can enjoy them.
