Hi, my name is Tracey Brown. I'm a beauty expert. I have about 30 years of industry experience in makeup, skincare and also as a trainer. I am currently a writer, a beauty journalist and I have a great website, where you can read more about my tips and advice. Our topic today is how to put on eyeliner if you have curly eyelashes. I've got Lizinia here, my model and she has curly eyelashes and one of the problems with putting on eyeliner with curly eyelashes is getting that liner in there where you don't make a mess. So a great tip to remember is that you can use a tool, a brush for exact precision application and that's what we're going to do. We're going to take the pencil eyeliner, take it off of the tip of the pencil with a liner brush and then lift your eyelid and work that color right into the lash line. Use small strokes, don't attempt to line the entire lid in one fell swoop. It doesn't work and our first line is really between the lashes to give depth to the eye then we can go back and layer on top of that for more color. The reason why you lift the lid is because there's a little flap of skin there. You want to be sure to get that liner all the way in. The second time I'm going to take it up a little bit, one notch to give her a little more of a pronounced line and this time I'm kind of joining the dots I made last time, making that dot line a little bit wider. I could wing it out a little bit, beautiful and we'll do the same on the second side. Now our second time through is giving some depth to that line. Add a little more right here and there you have it, two steps, to apply eyeliner if you have curly eyelashes. My name is Tracey.
