Hi, this is Lisa with here at Anytime Fitness South Longview, Texas. Today, I am going to show you a few different glute exercises that you can do laying down. So lets go ahead and get on the floor. The first one is just a simple bridge. First of all make sure that your belly button is pulled in tight. Hands are down at the floor and your heels are on the floor as well. Knees up. You are going to go ahead and lift up your hips. You are going to hold this at the top. And you are going to squeeze. You are going to repeat this about 20 times. Just squeeze right through at the top. When you are done don't come down and rest. Go ahead and squeeze side to side. Do 10 on each side. Again make sure that belly button is pulled in tight. And you are not dipping down. You are simply going side to side. When you are done with that lift the foot up to the ceiling. The heel is up. And you want to pretend you are punching out the ceiling with the heel. Just straight up, small punches. You're really pushing down through the heel that's on the floor as well. And getting a good hamstring and glute workout at the same time. You'll keep the hips up and as you switch legs and repeat on this side 10 to 20 on each side. And those are some ways to work the glutes laying down.
