Hi, I'm Teca Thompson, trained chef and organic gardener. Today, we are how to plant lettuce heads. So right now I have baby romaine which I have grown from a seed. And are now big enough, a few inches to be transplanted into the ground. So I've made a little bed for them and I'm going to plant them about four to six inches apart. So they have plenty of room to get big and grow into nice full lettuce heads. So I'm going to dig a little whole in the top of the row about as big as the container is. I'm going to take our lettuce out of it's container and place it in the top of the row in the ground. And the second one same way about four to six inches from the first. Plenty of room. We are going to pack them in a little bit. And you'll go on so on down the row. Now you always want to make sure after our planting to give them water and then continue to give them water as they need it. And make sure they get plenty of sunlight. I'm Teca Thompson this is how to plant lettuce heads. Thank you for watching.
