Hi, I'm Teca Thompson, farm to table chef. Today, we're talking about and giving a few examples of how to create an herb garden using pots and pavers. This is pretty subjective to whatever you want to do in whatever space you have to utilize. So I have my basic herb garden and I've just taken some of my favorite pots, whether I like them for color or they are passed down through generations and somebody made them in a pottery class and now I like to keep my perennials outside and permanently in the ground because they will either come back year round if it freezes or they will stay year round if it doesn't and some of my more sensitive plants like basil I like to keep in pots, that way I find if it's a night when it's supposed to freeze, it's as simple as picking it up, bringing it in my house and bringing it outside the next day when it's warm and sunny. Or if you are in the middle of cooking and you want your herbs close by in your kitchen, it's a great way to transfer herbs from your garden to your kitchen. So I'm Teca Thompson. This is how to create an herb garden using pots and pavers. Thank you for watching.
