Hi, I'm Erin Hendley, professional makeup artist. And today I am here to show you how you can change the perception of your eye color by using only eye shadows. We have a very neutral palette here. So this proves that we don't need to have crazy colors to change what we want other people to see our eye color as. Now when we are talking about perception we aren't dealing with a big drastic change such as contacts. But we are going for something that can enhance our eye color and almost manipulate the way people see our eye color. So we can choose, she has blue eyes. And you can really go in two different directions. One on the warmer side or one on the cooler side. The warmer side will bring out any gold flecks going on within her eyes. And the cool side will bring out any of the silver tones and make the blue pop more. So what we are going to do is go in with the gold. Gold and blue are awesome colors especially together. So we are just placing the eye shadow right along the lash line because the closer the eye shadow is to the actual eye the bigger the impact. So we can tell already, if you open, that it's really bringing out the gold flecks in her eye. And we are going to do the same to the other side. So again, this isn't really just changing the whole color of the eye but it is letting us see the different colors that go into the eye and bringing them out. And that's going to give people a different perception on what your eye color is. Or what colors it contains. You can add a couple of different colors if you'd like to get the whole system working. Or you can just stick to one. You can keep it as simple as you'd like. Going underneath the eye can help enhance the colors as well. I'm Erin Hendley, and I just showed you how you can change the perception of how people view your eye color.
