Hi, my name is Leslie Shores. I'm a color specialist here at Maxine Salon in Chicago. Today, I'm going to be discussing warm reds versus cool reds. So if you want to look like the 2% of the population that is a natural redhead, you want to go with more of a warm golden or coppery tone but you want to take into consideration your skin color. So if you are more fair and have a lighter natural color you can go with more copper or golden tones. If you have a darker natural color, you can go more into like auburn or magenta colors which is more like the cool violet reds. Just remember that red is a vixen color so you have to have the personality to pull it off. I'm Leslie Shores and that is my take on cool reds versus warm reds.
