Hi, my name is Crystal. I'm going to describe just a couple of different braids that you can do. To just kind of make your ponytail a little bit more interesting. Braiding is a series of twisting and overlapping hair to pull it back and get it out of your face. There is, again, a couple different ways you can do it. There's the basic 3 strand brain, where you split the hair into three strands, three equal strands. And you overlap the right hand side over the center. And then the left hand side. Right one over, left one over. And continue that all the way down until you get to the bottom. That is one way to do a braid. The other way is what's known as a fish tail braid. It takes a little bit longer to do but looks really cool at the end. For that one you can split it into two equal sections. What you do is you take a small chunk of hair, from the back, small piece, over lap it and ti to the right hand side Then you take a small piece from the right hand side, crisscross that one over and add it to the left. Switch hands, grab another small piece from the back. Doesn't matter. Crisscross over that one. And you just continue that all the way until the bottom. See how the hair is just weaved and crisscrossed over each other? Then finish with a ponytail. There's also different types of French braiding and corn rowing, to get the hair back off of the face. It's something that you can be creative and artistic with. Thank you very much for watching. And that's how to do a couple different braids.
