Hi. I'm Kendra Richards, professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you mix eyeshadow pigments. One of my insider tips is to make sure that you wet the brush that you're using. Because it helps the pigment stick to the brush and then when you apply it to the eye it also, it helps it to adhere to the eye better as well. And I can make this as sheer or as intense as I like depending on how many times I go over the eyelid with the brush. And another way to intensify the color is by adding more water to the brush. You can really see the difference here with how dramatic that color is looking. And again, you can just keep layering that to get a dramatic effect. To finish that off I like to use a big fluffy brush to blend out that line so that it's a harsh line but instead, blended out. Go ahead and open and let's see that. There you go. That's super easy, not the purple, just the pink. So there you go. That's how to mix eyeshadow pigments. You use a little water with your makeup brush. You can mix pigments to your taste and to your liking and you're good to go. It'll help it last longer or you can use them dry, either way. I'm Kendra Richards of the Kristoff Ball Salon in Beverly Hills. Thanks for watching.
