Hi, guys. I'm Cari Shoemate. And as a trainer I get asked a lot about glute muscles. How do you firm up your glutes? You know do you use the stairmaster, the step mill, stairs, the mini stepper? There's lots of different options that claim to really target your glutes. I don't really recommend the mini stair stepper. That would be one that I would say really doesn't work the glutes the best. I mean sure you are going to work them a little bit cause you are doing that stepping motion. But to really target your glutes you need to have more range of motion when you are doing your steps. So I would actually go find some stairs. Run stairs, walk stairs. And another favorite of mine is actually doing a hill workout. You can do it outside or on a treadmill, walking or running either way. It's going to work your glutes, your hamstrings, and your calves. So you are really going to get more bang for your buck on that. Another tip that I have for you is make sure you supplement your cardio or your hill workouts, or your step workouts with some actual squats and lunges. Cause those strength training exercises are really going to tone those muscles. I'm Cari Shoemate, and I'll see you next time.
