Hi, I'm Cari Shoemate. And I'm here to talk a little bit about aerobics. One of the main components of aerobics is actually an aerobic leg curl. We see this a lot especially during the warmup in an aerobics class or in a cardio class. And it's actually just a great move to really warm up your legs. So an aerobic leg curl usually looks something like this. Usually you are going to step back curling your heels up towards your glutes. And keeping your knees pretty close together. They're not going to far apart. Let me show you from the side. So it's basically something like this. Now in this exercise you are actually just stretching out the quadricep muscles and a little bit of the hamstrings. So the point of an aerobic leg curl is actually to really warm up the front part of your legs. And just to kind of get your blood flowing so that you are ready for the class and so you don't get injured. I'm Cari Shoemate and I'll see you next time.
