Hi, everyone. I'm Hairstylist Amanda Shackleton, and today I'm going to show you how to volumize your hair using a dry spray. It's really really simple. All you need are two tools; your fingers, actually three, your fingers, your blow dryer and some hairspray. So, first what I'm going to start out doing is taking just this side of the hair and giving it a quick spray at the roots, just lifting and spraying, lifting and spraying, lifting and spraying. You don't have to do it absolutely perfectly, it's just to get those roots, give those roots a shot of hairspray. Then, you're going to come in with your blow dryer and direct the heat just right onto the roots, just like that. Now, you'll want to keep it on for a few more seconds than I just did until the hairspray is absolutely set. And once you have that done, all you do is come in with your fingers, just give it a nice kind of scrunch up like that to get some volume in it. If you want and your hair is not really behaving, you can always flip it over, shake it up a little bit, flip it back and then finish it off with a little bit more of the dry spray. I like to use my hands a lot when I'm styling hair and I just kind of pick up the hair to give it a little bit of scrunch in my fingers as I'm spraying it. Go ahead, and do this other side real quick. And there you go, just really pretty voluminous hair, just using dry hairspray. This is Amanda Shackleton from NY Bridal Beauty.
