Hi. I'm Cassandra Allen-Brown from Bags By Cab-Yarn Shoppe in Denver, Colorado, bagsbycab.com, and today I will be teaching you a list of crocheted stitches. Lets start with a chain of 10. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. Next we're going to do a single crochet. We're going to insert our hook in the second chain from the hook, pull the yarn through, yarn over, stick the hook through, yarn over, pull it through. So we're going to do a single crochet in each one of the chain stitches. This would be considered like your foundation chain in a pattern. So we've got that. A couple more. And this is the last one. For the next stitch we are going to chain 2. This will be our 1/2 double crochet. Yarn over and start your hook through the stitch, pull the yarn through, yarn over. And we're going to pull this yarn through all three of the loops on the hook. So yarn over, insert your hook, pull this through, yarn over, through all three. That is a 1/2 double crochet. So we'll finish this row with a 1/2 double crochet. Until we get to the very last one here Just put that there. That is the 1/2 double crochet. Now we're going to do a double crochet as our final stitch. Chain three, turn, yarn over, insert the hook into the first stitch, pull the yarn through. Now instead of pulling this yarn through all three, we're only going to pull it through the first 2. Yarn over, pull it through the final two. Yarn over, pull it through the first 2, yarn over to the final 2. And this final row of stitches will be a double crochet. So double crochet until the very last stitch on this row. Now we have the chain 10, then we have the single crochet, then we had the 1/2 double crochet, and then we just finished the double crochet. And that is a list of crochet stitches. Hi.
