Hi, I'm Erin Hendley, professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you how you can do it yourself powder deodorant. So we have basically some powder that we use for our makeup purposes. This could be baby powder or it can just be makeup powder. And so what we need to do is think that when we're making our own deodorant, powders primary purpose is to eliminate shone or eliminate sweat and oil. So the powder is going to basically be the deodorant itself. And so what we're going to do is just take whatever powder that you have, whether it be baby powder or a setting powder from your makeup in your cabinet, we all have these things at home. We are going to apply this to whatever area that we feel like might be sweating. So if your armpits sweat, you can put your deodorant there. If somewhere else on your body sweats, we can put it there. So what we're just going to do for these purposes today is put it on a brush. That's the best way to apply a powder deodorant in my honest opinion. And then so we have the ingredient of the powder that's going to eliminate the shine so we need something to mask out odor. So if we are sweating from our armpits and we need deodorant, we need an odor resistant. So we're just going to go in with any of our sprays that we like, just these vials that we get at a beauty store and mix the two together. Spray kind of far away. We want the powder to remain in powder form and then you're just going to apply it to the area that you want. Put this anywhere that you perspire and it's going to act as a deodorant. These two basic things combined can help you get through in a pinch if you don't have any accessible deodorant. So you can make your own. I'm Erin Hendley, and I just showed you how to do it yourself powder deodorant.
